Edward Howard, 75, of Corinth, Mississippi, died Thursday, February 26, 2015, at his residence. He graduated from Corinth High School in 1957. He retired after 42 years as a shipping crew leader with Tennessee River Pulp and Paper. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he enjoyed attending the Men's Adult Sunday School class. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who thoroughly enjoyed his grandchildren, loved working in his yard and studying his bible. Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2015 and from 1 PM till service time on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, officiated by Bro. Dennis Smith. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Bo Howard, Kimble Wilbanks, Kerry Wilbanks, Wayne Parker, Harold Fowler and Stan Fields. Honorary pallbearers include Sammy Miles, the classmates of Corinth High School class of 1957 and the Men's Adult Sunday School class of First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, 7 months and 1 day: June Howard of Corinth, MS; 2 sons: Eddie Howard and wife Nicole of Corinth, MS and Stephen Howard and wife Victoria of Germantown, TN; 3 sisters: Glenda Jean Gammill and husband Tommy of Corinth, MS, Sue Jones of Corinth, MS and Laura Butler of Corinth, MS; 3 sisters in law: Shirley Wilbanks of Corinth, MS, Jean Boothe of Corinth, MS and Linda Wendling of Franklin, NC; 6 grandchildren: Bo Howard, Brittanie Howard, Baylee Howard, Zachary Howard, Rachel Howard and Alexis Howard. He was preceded in death by his parents: Glen and Veda Howard; his in-laws: R.E. and Maggie Burkes; his brother: Glen Dale Howard Jr.; his brother-in-laws: Charles Wilbanks, Hubert Boothe and Phillip Newcomb and his sister: Faye Howard.
