Edward Thomas Farris

Edward Thomas Farris, Sr., 81, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in McNairy County, TN on December 4, 1936 to the late Alvis and Leora Bowen Farris and graduated from Ramer High school. Eddie was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Corinth. He served in the National Guard and spent 15 years as a computer programmer for Wurlitzer before opening his own small engine repair shop business, Farris Repair Shop. Eddie will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Interment will be in Henry Cemetery. Those left to honor Eddie’s memory include his wife of 56 years: Yvonne Farris of Corinth; his son: Chip Farris of Corinth; his daughter: Priscilla Junkin of Madison, MS; 3 grandchildren: Blake Farris, Michael Farris, and Trevor Glidewell. He was preceded in death by his father: Alvis Farris; his mother: Leora Bowen Farris; his brother: Jack Farris; his sisters: Fleta Holt, Dora Lee Owings and Netral Forsythe.
