Edna Roberts

Edna Roberts, 66, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Corinth, MS on May 18, 1954 to the late Roy and Edna Basden and was of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker. Edna will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 10am to 12 pm Monday, September 14, 2020 at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. A Celebration of Edna’s life will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel officiated by Bro. Jamie Basden. Interment will be in Magnolia Gardens. Pallbearers include Jeff Basden, Jerry Basden, Terry Doles Jr., Harold Ray Cornelison, Larry Cornelison, and Dusty Essary. Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Edna’s memory include her husband of 48 years, Travis Wayne Roberts of Corinth; her son, Thomas Dewayne Roberts and wife Kasey of Booneville; her grandchildren, Jaxon Thomas Roberts and Mollee Annese Roberts; her sisters, Doris Essary of Corinth, Virginia Smith and husband Leonard of Rienzi, Lisa Holloway of Corinth, and Christine Sellers and husband Gary of Corinth; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
