Douglas Cecil Spencer

Douglas "Doug" Cecil Spencer, 53, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at his residence, Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah, TN. There will be a Celebration of LIfe Service on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at 4:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Rev. Patrick Moore will officiate the service. Burial will be at Oaks Hill Cemetery in Corinth. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, from 3:00 pm--4:00 pm, at Magnolia Funeral Home. Doug was born on September 23, 1964, in Corinth, MS. He was employed by Roy's Feed Mill and worked as a utility worker. He was of the Christian Faith. Doug is survived by his brothers: Jerry Spencer and wife Carol and Billy Spencer, all of Corinth; Sisters: Wanda Settlemires and husband Bobby of Corinth, and Minnie Holt and husband Doug of Belmont, MS; his special family at Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Leo "Red" Spencer; Mother: Allie Sue Franks Spencer; and Brother, Terry Spencer. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the Spencer Family.
