A private family service for Dorothy Irene Williams, 85, of Corinth is set for Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel with interment to follow in Holly Baptist Church Cemetery. A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 5 pm-8 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel. Born May 6, 1935 in Chicago, IL, Dorothy passed from this life on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at her home in Corinth. Dorothy was a homemaker and of the Lutheran faith. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening her rose bushes and tomato plants. One of the things she enjoyed the most was large family gatherings. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 66 years, Warren Williams of Corinth; son, Don Williams and wife Tammy of Corinth; daughters, Sharon Anderson and husband Brett of Indian Land, SC, Darlene Hastings and husband Jeff of Corinth, Barbara Ward and husband Jerry of Florence, AL; Linda Williams and Maury Grisham of Corinth and Penny Williams Hurley of Louisville, KY; 15 grandchildren, Matthew Anderson, Kim Anderson, Steven Gray, Jeffrey Hastings, Jr., Shane Brewer, Brittany Brewer, Jessica Curtis, Darren Williams, Ashley Barnes, Daniel Williams, Jake Williams, Destiny Dildy, Alisha McCoy, Zach Hurley and Christopher Hurley; 33 great-grandchildren; sister, Deloris Lawrence of Chicago; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Warren Williams; great-grandson, Easton Lane Dildy; father, Frank LaBaun; mother, Lillian Toren; brothers, Eddie LaBaun and Frankie LaBaun and her sisters, Lavern LaBaun and Elaine Mesner. Bro. Joe Marsh will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Matthew Anderson, Daniel Williams, Jake Williams, Zach Hurley, Christopher Hurley, Cody Dildy and Aaron Crum. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey Hastings, Jr., Shane Brewer and Darren Williams.
