Dorothy Mae Smith, 84, of Iuka, MS, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Cornerstone Health and Rehab in Corinth, MS. She was born in Tishomingo County, MS on May 21, 1931 to the late Codie and Carlie McDuffy Brown. Dorothy was a member of Grace Bible Church and worked for several years at Genesco Shoe Company. Visitation is scheduled from 10 AM till service time Monday, November 9, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at 1 PM, Monday, November 9, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, officiated by Bro. Charlie Browning and eulogy by Leroy Brown. Interment will follow at Campground Cemetery in Iuka. Pallbearers include Brian Brown, Sadler Dalton, Ronnie Bobo and Jacob Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers include the staff of Cornerstone Health and Rehab. Magnolia Funeral Home is caring for the family. Those left to honor Dorothy's memory include her brothers: Leroy Brown and wife Hilda of Corinth, MS and Arvolle Brown and wife Hazel of Corinth, MS; her sisters: Norma Sullivan and husband Gerald of Florence, AL and Elaine Watson and husband Steve of Jackson, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bob Smith; her son: Roger Skinner; a brother: Carlton Brown and by her granddaughter: Lacey Michele Skinner.
