Dorothy Barnett Lipscomb Dorothy Barnett Lipscomb, 91, of Corinth, MS. went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Dot, the youngest child of William and Nina Ray Barnett and loving wife of Beck Lipscomb, passed away at County Cottage Assisted Living in Corinth. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents , three sisters; Mary Moore, Nina Biggers and Frances Patteson and two brothers; Foy Barnett and Ray Barnett. “Aunt Dot”, who is survived by many nieces and nephews, will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a member of First United Methodist church in Senatobia, Ms. She was the personal secretary for M. P. “Hot” Moore, owner of Circle M Ranch in Senatobia, MS until her retirement. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home in Corinth. A graveside service will be held at Friendship Cemetery in Como, MS. on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00am. Memorials may be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
