Her journey through life was marked by resilience, strength, and an unwavering spirit that touched the lives of many. A proud 22-year veteran of the United States Navy, Doris served her country with honor and dedication. Her military service not only exemplified her commitment to duty but also shaped her personality into that of a natural leader, often taking on the role of "the boss" in both her professional and personal life. After retiring from her position as a machine operator at World Color, she carried forward her work ethic and leadership qualities in every endeavor she pursued. Doris was a woman of diverse interests who embodied a love for life's simple pleasures. Her fondness for playing solitaire provided her with moments of quiet reflection, a pastime she cherished. Those who knew her often recount joyful memories of time spent camping and fishing, where she found peace by the water, soaking in the beauty of nature. Her zest for life was contagious as she enjoyed boating on the river, creating treasured moments with family and friends. Above all, family was at the heart of Doris’s life. She loved spending time with her loved ones, cherishing the connections that nurtured her spirit. Doris also embraced her passion for animals, particularly through her joy of raising dogs, which added an extra layer of warmth to her home. Her vibrant personality and indomitable spirit will be deeply missed by all whose lives she enriched with her laughter, love, and friendship. Doris is survived by her daughter, Misty Fine (Shannon); her son, Paul Braddock; her grandchildren, Austin (Cota), Blake (Stormie), Callie (Jackson), David-Koa, Tanner (Chelsea), Tatum (Gracie), Emily (Keith), Logan, and Melissa (Nick); 11 great grandchildren; her brothers, David Arnold (Tina) and Wayne Arnold; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
