Doris Frances Averett

Doris Frances Averett, 84 of Corinth, MS, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Cornerstone Health and Rehab. A private graveside service will be Friday, May 15, 2020 at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Kara Blackard will officiate the service. Mrs. Averett was born April 5, 1936 in Corinth, MS to Elzie "Younk" Wilburn and Gladys Bragg Wilburn. She retired as a factory worker at World Color and was a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. Doris is survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Arlin Averett; her father, Elzie "Younk" Wilburn and her mother, Gladys Bragg Wilburn. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Doris Frances Averett.
