A Celebration of Life Service for Donna Janice Thompson, 79 of Booneville, MS is set for Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment in Rock Hill First Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2019 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 1:00pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Born October 23, 1939 in Warren, Ohio, Mrs. Thompson passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Cornerstone Health and Rehab in Corinth, MS . She was of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith and a member of New Life Church of Jesus Christ and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, William "Billy" Thompson of Booneville; daughters, Sharie Lee Bass and husband Sam of Booneville, Terrie Lynette Price and husband Bill of Clayton, N.C. and Camie T. Joshlin and husband Roy Allen of Booneville; step son, William Bruce Thompson and wife Jean of Brevard, N. C. ; 19 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. Donna is preceded in death by her sons, Douglas Manning Slife II and Leo Gene Slife; her father, Curtis Elmer Waldron and mother, Cora Dell Tift Waldron. Pallbearers will be Timothy Cornelius, Sam Bass, Chris Collier, Scott Godsey, Johnathan Holloway and Timothy Holloway. Bishop Eldon McVey and Pastor Melvin Harrison will officiate the service.
