Funeral services for Donald Calvin Franks, 80, of Corinth are set for Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 2pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church with interment in Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 8, 2021 from 5pm-8pm and Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 12pm-2pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Bro. Trent Nethery will officiate the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Ford, Franklin Pace, Steve Franks, Scottie Bass, Rodney Bass and Will Bass. Born June 1, 1941 in Corinth, MS., Donald passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Florence, AL. He was a retired truck driver. He was a Christian and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Donald enjoyed working in his flowers and the yard, going to church, listening to gospel music and doing word search puzzles. His family was his world and he loved spending time with them. Donald is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sue Dixon Franks; daughters, Rhonda Franks Wilbanks (Vaughn) and Tracy Franks Singleton (Scott); grandchildren, Vaughn Connor Wilbanks (Anna Kate) and Megan Singleton Jumper (Colt); great grandchildren, Bentley Madison Hall and Blakely Mae Jumper; sisters, Diane Ford and Nancy McCarley; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Cecil and Minnie Lee Goodman Franks; brothers, Charles Franks and Larry Franks and sisters, Shirley Franks, Sybil Ivy, Sue Spencer and Mary Lindsey.
