Dewayne Rickman

A celebration of life for Dewayne Rickman, 66, of Corinth, MS will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Rev. Mike Lee and Rev. Wesley Basden will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2022, and from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Pallbearers include Johnny Butkovich, Brian Mitchell, John Lentz, Brannon Frazier, Michael Holmes, and James Brake. Born September 20, 1956, in Corinth, MS to James “Bud” Rickman and Rachel Porterfield, Dewayne passed away in Nashville, TN Sunday, October 9, 2022. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Biggersville Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and racing and loved watching his grandchildren play sports and spending time with his family. Those left to honor Dewayne’s memory include his wife of 47 years, Kay Rickman; sons, Brian Rickman (Demetra), and Brad Rickman (Amber); daughter, Brandi Kaufman (Joey); mother, Rachel Porterfield (Charles); grandchildren, Cody Kerr (Katie), Cynthia Kerr, Kyler Rickman, Hannah Rickman, Brayden Rickman, Tucker Kaufman, Mia Rickman, Noah Rickman, and Kayson Ross; great grandchildren, Caiden Kerr, Carson Kerr, and Kellan Kerr; stepmother, Mary Ann Rickman; brothers, Greg Johnson (Angie), and Eric Porterfield; sisters, Chere Hickman (Michael), Pam Nichols (Mike), Paula Smith (Joey), and Penny Dance (Ralph); several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James “Bud” Rickman. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Lloyd Dewayne Rickman.
