Dennis Taylor

A celebration of life service for Dennis Taylor, 65, will be held at Holly Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 2 PM. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM, Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home and 1 PM till service time on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Holly Baptist Church. Mr. Taylor passed away from this life on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Born August 18, 1950 in Alcorn County he was co-owner of Taylor Heating and Air Conditioning. Dennis enjoyed life to the fullest, always wearing a brilliant smile. Aside from work he loved teaching Sunday School and choir at Holly Baptist Church where he was a member. He also enjoyed hunting, gardening, and riding motorcycles. Survivors include his wife of 14 years: Linda D. Taylor of Corinth, MS; his children: Brandon Whitley and wife Crystal of Villa Rica, GA, Michael McCann of Corinth, MS, Tammy Lipford and husband Zach of Corinth, MS and Lindsey Hastings and David Nixon of Burnsville, MS; his parents: Billy and Violet Taylor of Corinth, MS; his brothers: Billy Dan Taylor and wife Cathy of Corinth, MS and Joel Taylor and wife Julia of Corinth, MS; his grandchildren: Chris Lipford, Holly Woodruff and husband Brandon, Dakota McCann and wife Paige, Amber McCann, Mason McCann, Felicity Thorne, Jaden Hastings and Eli Nixon; six great-grandchildren; three nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his first wife Linda Wooten Taylor. Burial will be in Henry Cemetery. Bro. John Boler and Bro. Tony Morrow will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
