Delola Austin

Delola Austin, 94, of Corinth, MS passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Mississippi Care Center. She was born in Saltillo, TN on March 14, 1924 and retired from Magnolia Regional Health Center where she worked in the cafeteria. Delola will forever be remembered in the hearts of those she loved. Visitation is scheduled from 11:30 till service time Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Delola’s life will be held at 2 pm Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Pallbearers include Adam Briggs, Jacob Willis, Lee Peyton, Corey Keltner, Terry McKee, Dwayne Holt, and Michael Kolativa. Interment will be in Henry Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Delola’s memory include her children: Trish Briggs, Rosemary Dawson, Myra Willis (Mike), and Vic Austin (Irene); her grandchildren: Rachel Holt (Dwayne), Adam Briggs (Shay), Mandy McKee (Terry), Corey Keltner (Terri), Haley Little (Trent), Jacob Willis (Katie), Lee Peyton, Caroline Kolativa (Michael), and Savannah Austin; her great grandchildren: Austin Holt, Payton Holt, Torrie Holt, Mallory Holt, Star Waddell, Skye Hall, Sam Ballard, Matt Ballard, Julia Briggs, Katie Beth Corbin, Riley Corbin, Abby Pratt (Alan), Colton Little, Eli Little, Braxton Willis, Anthony Raiden Kolativa, and Annaliese Kolativa; 5 great-great grandchildren; her special caregiver: Jean Kennedy; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Idella Conley; her brothers: Herbert Conley and Brownie Conley; her sisters: Morene Orr and Audra Wood; and by her son-in-law: Frankie Briggs.
