David Wayne Thompson

Funeral services for David Wayne Thompson, 72, of Adamsville, TN are set for Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Wheeler Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 5:00pm- 8:00pm and Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 9:00am until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Thompson passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at his home. He was born January 29, 1943, and was a retired machinist and also retired from the National Guard. He was a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Sandra Thompson of Adamsville, TN; his son, David Matthew Thompson (Elyse) of Selmer, TN; three daughters, Laura Beth Thomson of Bloomington, IN., Sarah Alicia Thompson of Adamsville, TN and Mary Ann Hudson (Tim) Ashland, MS; two grandchildren, Hayley Dawn Howie (Dustin) of Corinth and Jesse Cole Childers of Corinth; two sisters, Sandra Kay Settlemires (Kenneth) of Kossuth, MS and Kathy Thompson of Kossuth, MS; one nephew, David Leon Settlemires (Shelly) of Kossuth, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his father, David Henry Thompson; his mother, Eula Wilburn Thompson and his brother, Henry Wade Thompson. Bro. Gary Porterfield will officiate.
