David Frederick Sohn

David Frederick Sohn, 73, of Jackson, TN passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS. He was born in Prospect Heights, IL on January 26, 1946 to the late Frederick and Anna Rhettburg Sohn and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where he served as an elder and president of the congregation. David will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. A celebration of David’s life will be held at 10 am Monday, June 10, 2019 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church officiated by Pastor Michael Dixon. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Geordon Krenson, Eric Ortolano, Robert Cuttle, Michael Krenson, David Sohn, and Bob Ortolano. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor David’s memory include his sons: Jerry Russell (Ashley) of AK and David A. Sohn (Jessica) of Jackson, TN; his daughters: Lynette Ortolano (Robert) of AK, Kimberly Sohn (Douglas Cline) of Jackson, TN, Suzanne Krenson (Mike) of Henderson, TN and Jennifer Finley (Larry) of Selmer, TN; 24 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
