David King, 65, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Mississippi Care Center of Alcorn County. He was born in Selmer, TN on October 3, 1954 and was a member of North Corinth Baptist Church. David was a big family man who enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. He loved to hunt and fish and spend time outdoors and will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 10:30 am till service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of David’s life will be held at 2 pm Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Keith King. Jami King will deliver the obituary. Pallbearers include Tory Riley, Joey Leatherwood, Steven Essary, Dennis King, Mike King, and Tony King. Interment will follow in Magnolia Gardens. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor David’s memory include his son: Phillip L. King and wife Jami of Guys, TN; his daughter: Amanda Duncan and husband Brian of Corinth, MS; his father: Dale King of Corinth; his brother: Phillip E. King of Corinth; his grandchildren: Madeleine Gardner (Chris), Josh McIntosh (Angele), Allen McIntosh, Bryce King, Emma King, Cole Buncik, Luke King, Jacob Duncan, Hayley King, and Ava King; his great grandchildren: Hadleigh Gardner, Kylen McIntosh, and Hughes Gardner; other relatives and a host of friends.
