Darrell Woodruff

A Celebration of Life for Darrell Woodruff, 86, of Iuka, MS is scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment at Box Chapel Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Bro. Keith Hayes will officiate the service. Pallbearers include Jason Clarkson, Justin McAlexander, Bryan Woodruff, and Jonathan Woodruff. Born May 16, 1937 to the late Otis and Pearl Strickland Woodruff, Darrell passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Iuka, MS. He retired from Shelby County Schools after 40 plus years as a journeyman painter. Darrell was a member of Fisherville Baptist Church of Collierville and enjoyed golfing, gardening, listening to country music, playing guitar, and spending time with his family. Those left to honor Darrell’s memory include son, Michael O. Woodruff; daughter, Denise W. West; grandchildren, Jason Clarkson (Kim), Justin McAlexander, Jonathan Woodruff, and Bryan Woodruff; great grandchildren, Preston, Eli, Jaxon, Bryar, and Brooks; sisters, Janice Elam (Russell), and Betty Hathcock; other relatives and a host of friends.
