A Celebration of Life for Danny Lee Davis, 62, of Pocahontas, TN is set for Friday, April 21, 2017 at 1:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Pocahontas, TN. Visitation will be Friday, April 21, 2017 from 11:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Bro. Nathan Dixon will officiate the service. Mr. Davis passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Bolivar General Hospital in Bolivar, TN. He was born July 30, 1954 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Lee Hamilton Davis and Harriett Elizabeth Castell Davis Proctor. He was a security guard at Ashley Furniture. He was of the Baptist faith and was a veteran of the U S Navey. Danny is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mary Davis of Pocahontas, TN; his sons, Charles Woods and wife Regina of Pocahontas, TN and James Woods and wife Heather of Walnut, MS; his 10 grandchildren, Autumn Woods, Charles Anthony Woods, Tyler Bryant, Katie Woods, Ezekiel Johnson, Elijah Johnson, Corey Davidson (Sarah), Nicholas Beauregard, Jessica Beauregard and Jasmine Lacefield; 4 great-grandchildren, Selena Davidson, Brendan Davidson, Casey Davidson and Sirria Davidson; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Barbara Ellen Davis Hood Jordon. Pallbearers will be Alan Smith, Kelly Smith, Garon Nelson and Ken Stewart. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Danny Lee Davis.
