Danny Beavers, 62 of Glen, MS, headed to heaven for a grand reunion on Thursday, April 5th, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. A Celebration of Life service will be Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 3:00 P M at Church of the Crossroads with Highway Patrol Honors. Interment will follow at Dogwood Cemetery. Bro. Nelson Hight and Bro. Eddie McFalls will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 4:00 P M to 8:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories and Sunday, April 7, 2018 from 2:00 P M until service time at Church of the Crossroads. He was born November 5, 1955 in Corinth, MS to Billy Beavers and Mildred Nash Johnson. Danny was a retired Highway Patrol Officer and current Mayor of Glen, MS. He was very active in his community and many ministries within the Church of the Crossroads. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Pam Culbertson Beavers of Glen, MS; his son, Andy Beavers and wife Trista of Collierville, TN; his daughter, Charly Beavers of Portland, Oregon; step-daughters, Angel Rencher and husband Todd of Corinth, MS and Shereda Saint and husband Randy of Rienzi, MS; 7 grandchildren, Lillian, Madison, Logan, Sadie, Bradley, Ashley and Katie; 11 great-grandchildren; his brother, John Beavers of Corinth, MS; his sister, Angie Beavers Roberts and husband Kevin of Corinth, MS; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chelsey Beavers; father, Billy Beavers; mother, Mildred Nash Johnson and sister, Lynn Beavers Wilburn. Pallbearers will be Doug Lomenick, Jerry Lewis, Allen Lyles, Erik Smith, David Nunley, Eric Timms and Joey Lomenick. Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny’s Wednesday Night Men’s Class. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to His Compassionate Touch @ Church of the Crossroads. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Danny Beavers.
