Dan Guy Burns

Dan Guy Burns, 69,of Corinth, passed away at his residence on Friday, February 24, 2017. He was born on October 28, 1947 in Blue Mountain, MS, to the late Dan Burns and Louise Aston Burns. He was a furniture upholster for many years, and was of the Pentecostal Faith. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Robin Burns of Corinth, four sons: Danny Burns (Teresa) of Ripley, James Lowery (Georgia), Joseph Burns and Yogi Burns of Corinth; three daughters, Carry Burns of Selmer, TN, Marci Perry (Jason) of Corinth, and Sue Ellen Johnson (Adam) of Rienzi; seven grandchildren: Donnie Butler (Shay), Dustin Butler, Allison Brown, Nora Perry, Joe Perry, Jason Perry, Jr., and Gracelyn Faith Johnson, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Burns; his daughters, Shauna Burns and Melissa Burns; one grandchild, Charles Trinity Merrill, his father, Dan Burns, and his mother, Louise Aston Burns.
