Dale Frances Counce

Dale Frances Counce, 91 of Corinth, MS formerly of Counce, TN, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at MS Care Center. There will be a private family graveside service with a Celebration of Life service held at a later date. She was born December 7, 1928 in Shiloh, TN to Marcus Johnson and Beulah Flatt Johnson. She retired as a line operator at ITT after 20+ years of service. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church in Counce, TN. Frances loved to scrapbook, the TN Vols, visiting nursing homes and doing stuff with the Sonshiners at church. She also loved spending time with her family, listening to gospel music and going to auctions. Frances is survived by her son, Larry Counce wife Mary of Counce, TN; her daughter, Trudi McClain and husband Jerry of Cumming, GA; seven grandchildren, Tony Mathes, Snookey Boren (Jeff), Melissa Simrell (Michael), Paul Maceri (Kathryn), Chris Davis (Chas), Sarah Counce and Laura Keith; nine great grandchildren; her son-in-law, Avery Davis of Counce, TN; her brothers: Marc Johnson (Brenda) of St. Louis, MO and C.D. Johnson (Dorothy) of Anchorage, Alaska; her sister, Shirley Keck (Fran) of Gwinnett, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Hurley Kendell Counce; her daughter, Diane Davis; her father, Marcus Johnson; her mother, Beulah Flatt Johnson and her sisters, Louise Durbin and Marie Antis.
