A graveside service for Dakota Lynn Nelson, 26 of Iuka, MS will be Friday, January 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home-South. Mr. Nelson passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 in Burnsville, MS. He was born in Corinth, MS to Jimmy Nelson and Tracy West Nelson Parrish. He was a construction worker and of the Christian faith. Dakota is survived by his daughter, Arianna Nelson and her mother Serenity Peters of Iuka, MS; his mother, Tracy Parrish (Jayme) of Lexington, TN; his father, Jimmy Nelson (Carla) of Iuka, MS; his sister, Savana Nelson of Peoria, IL; maternal grandfather, Timothy West, Sr. of Pearland, TX; paternal grandparents, Sherry Nelson (James) of Booneville, MS; step-brother, Jadoth Parrish of Lexington, TN; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Brenda McFall (Esco) and paternal grandfather, Terry Nelson. Pallbearers will be Bradly Parmely, Blake Parmely, Michael Nelson, Jamie Nelson, Jordan Nelson and Neil Campbell.
