Crystal Nell McLemore

A Celebration of Life Service for Crystal Nell McLemore, 91 of Corinth, MS will be Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home – East  with interment to follow in Salem Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 12:00 PM until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. John Windham and Clayton Allred will officiate. Mrs. McLemore died Friday, May 5, 2023, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home. She was born May 3, 1932. Mrs. McLemore was of the Baptist faith.  She and her husband David founded Lake Hill Motors in 1962, where she played a vital role in the everyday business operations.  Later in life, she and her husband loved hosting many events that fed people from all around the world at their restaurant, McLemore’s.  She was a fantastic cook.  During retirement, she enjoyed going to classic car shows with her husband, working on beautiful embroidery pieces, and watching animals and birds from her window at home.  More than anything, she loved her family, and loved spending time with them.  

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Patricia Haney; her sons, Dwayne McLemore (Barbara) and Dan McLemore (Sally); her daughter, Lee Ann Dodd (Alan); one daughter-in-law, Kammy McLemore; seven grandchildren, Amy Cochran, Lee McLemore, Ben McLemore, Haley Hazlitt, Lindsey Williams and Carlie Dodd; eight great-grandchildren, Erica Maness, Casey Cochran, Harper Hazlitt, Hayden Hazlitt, Lucas McLemore, Evan McLemore, Jack Williams, and Molly Grace Williams; two great-great-grandchildren, Lucy Maness and Jayce Maness; and special friends, Sue Hite, Glenda McIngvale, Jody Roberts Moe, and Shannon Belk. She was preceded in death by her father, Haley Pruitt Haney; her mother, Jamie Sue Haney; her brother, Darren David Haney; her husband, David Lee McLemore; her son, Cary Alan McLemore; and her grandson, Casey Dwayne McLemore. Pallbearers include Lee McLemore, Ben McLemore, Jeffrey Williams, Will Long, Tyler Maness, and Shannon Belk.
