Clifton Wilkins

Clifton Wilkins, 78, of Burnsville, MS, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in Tishomingo County, MS on March 30, 1942 to the late Bilbo and Lillian Wilkins and worked for many years for Bonds Construction. Clifton was of the Baptist faith. Due to the pandemic and out of concern for extended family and friends visitation and services will be private. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include David Wilkins, Lonzo Wilkins, Vance Watson, Jerred Spencer, Travis Blakney, and Tony Kelly. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Clifton’s memory include his spouse: Marilyn Wilkins of Burnsville; his son: Marty Wilkins and wife Crystal of Burnsville; his brother: Nathan Wilkins of Tupelo; his grandchildren: Carson Wilkins, Anslee Wilkins, and Dustin Wilkins; his great-grandchild: Austin Wilkins; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Bilbo and Lillian Borden Wilkins; his son: Carlos Wilkins; his brother: William “Speedy” Wilkins and his sister: Reba Jean Huggins.
