Cledda Johnson, 71, of Glen, MS, passed away, Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at her residence. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at 3:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Corinth, MS. Visitation will be Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 5:00 P M to 9:00 P M and Friday, March 10, 2017 from 2:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Bro. Paul Ray Hall and Bro. James Voyles will conduct the service.
She was born on March 17, 1945 in Tishomingo County, MS to the late Arvy Sharp and Mamie Irene Letson Sharp. Cledda was a factory worker at ITT for 10 years and was also a homemaker. She was a member of Glendale Baptist Church.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of 52 years, Billy Wayne Johnson of Glen, MS; her daughter, Angela Dooley and husband William of Corinth, MS; her four grandchildren, Zachery Peacher, Savannah Peacher, Shianne Peacher and Jacob Dooley; her brother, Jimmy Ray Sharp and wife Charlene of Iuka, MS; her sister, Sandra Buchanan of Iuka, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Pauline Sharp, Imogene Sharp and Artie Holloway.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Hill, Dayron Sharp, Jim Johnson, Jacob Dooley, Bret Peacher and David Peacher.
Magnolia Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Cledda Johnson.
