Clarice L. Suitor, 80, of Rienzi, MS, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at North Mississippi Medical Center, in Tupelo, MS. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Minister Donnie Davis will conduct the service.
She was born on February 29, 1936 in Blair, Nebraska to the late Stella Gilliam Linderman and Gideon Edgar Linderman. Clarice was the co-owner of Suitors’s Meat Company which was established in 1914 in Rienzi, MS. She loved the outdoors and said that when she was outside mowing she felt closer to God. Mrs. Suitor was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church.
Clarice was a loving wife for 64 years to Bobby L. Suitor of Rienzi, MS and mother to Linda Fountaine, Robert Suitor II and wife Joyce, John Suitor and Mark Suitor and wife Laurie all of Rienzi, MS. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Andrew Rowsey and wife Ginger, Niki Smith and husband Phil, Danica Rowsey, Daniel Rowsey and wife Misty, Robert “Robi” Suitor III and wife Misty, John “BJ” Suitor, Ian Suitor and wife Christina and Bailey Suitor; her thirteen great grandchildren; her two nieces; Sandy Biller of Wisconsin and Gwedolyn McCoy and husband David of Florida; her two nephews, Jerry Glade and wife Sheryl of Nebraska and Donald “Chip” Martin of Nebraska; other relatives and a host of friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half brother, Donald Martin and her half sister, Sharon Glade. Magnolia Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
