A Poem for David by Jeanne Shanda Yant
David, you suffered so long
It is almost time to get along.
Heading back to the place of the beginning
Where Hell turns into something ending.
Life is a struggle and you were in it
Working to make better things within it.
Soon your maker will take you along
Hopefully to a place where you belong.
A place where strife and worry does not exist
Where Hunger and pain cannot touch
A Place where all things find peace.
