Charles Wayne Wheeler

A Celebration of Life Service for Charles Wayne Wheeler, 72 of Corinth, MS, will be held Monday, December 4, 2017 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Excail Burleson and Bro. Mike Williams will officiate the service. Visitation will be Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Monday, December 4, 2017 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Wheeler was born February 7, 1945 in Prentiss County, MS to Charles Homer Wheeler and Dolly Raye Barron Wheeler. He passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. He retired as a color shader at Intex Plastics after 44 years of service and was a Baptist by faith. He loved working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren. Charles is survived by his son, Charles Wayne Wheeler II and wife Angel of Corinth, MS; his daughters, Melissa Hackel and husband Joshua of Pensacola, FL and Jessica McCombs and husband Chad of Booneville, MS; his six grandchildren, Justin Wheeler, Makayla Wheeler, Gilman Hackel, Claire Hackel, Hailey Wheeler and Hayden McCombs; his brothers, Jerry Wheeler of Corinth, MS, Mack Wheeler and wife Debbie of Corinth, MS and Don Wheeler and wife Teresa of Corinth, MS; his sisters, Judy Talley of Corinth, MS, Betty Williams and husband Mike of Corinth, MS and Martha James and husband Billy of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, grandkids, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Homer Wheeler, his mother, Dolly Raye Barron Wheeler; brothers, Benny Wheeler, Joe Wheeler and Robert Wheeler; his sisters, Dorothy Marie Wheeler and Peggy Ann Boggs and his brother-in-law, Rickey Talley. Pallbearers will be Showny Boggs, Brad Wheeler, Jason James, Kenny Scales, Jerry Baldwin and Andrew Cummings. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to provide the arrangements for Mr. Charles Wayne Wheeler.
