Services for Charles Edwin Strickland, 77 of Corinth are set for Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Shiloh CP Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 5pm-8pm and Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 10am until service time at the funeral home. Born October 7, 1940 in Corinth, Charles worked in maintenance at ITT and was a member of Tishomingo Chapel Baptist Church. He was a U. S. Army veteran. Charles is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mildred Talley Strickland of Corinth; daughters, Rita Shaw and husband Steve of Corinth and Janet Strickland and husband Andrew of Macon, GA; 3 grandchildren, Lily Grace Shaw, Luke Miles Strickland and Caedmon Talley Strickland; brothers, Jerry Strickland and wife Margaret of Kossuth and Roy Strickland and wife Patricia of Corinth; sisters, Katherine Lindsey and husband Bobby of Baldwyn, MS and Paula Curtis and husband Charles of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Lee Strickland; mother, Nell Messner Strickland and his brother, Harris Strickland and wife Wanda. Bro. Cory Flanagin and Bro. Rodney Whittemore will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Lonnie McKee, Stanley Nelms, John Paul Waldon, Charles Curtis, Aaron Rogers and Jeff Strickland. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Waldon, Amos Nelms, Bobby Lindsey , Larry Cooley and Jerry Shipman. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Charles Edwin Strickland.
