Charles N. Smith

Charles N. Smith, 81, of Corinth, MS passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in Kansas City, KS on May 12, 1937 and was of the Baptist faith. Charles was a US Navy veteran where he served as ACC air traffic controller and radar man. He enjoyed serving in his local community as a member of The Alliance. Charles loved helping his neighbors and family and will forever be remembered in the hearts of those he loved. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Charles’s memory include his wife of almost 62 years: Betty Smith of Corinth; his son: Karl Smith and wife Kim of Atoka, TN; his daughter: Cynthia L. McCloskey and husband David of Port Townsend, WA; his grandchildren: Kristyna Le Beau, Stacey Logan, and Sean Smith; his great-grandchildren: Nathan and Erica; other relatives and many friends.
