A celebration of life service for Charles David Lambert is set for Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Love Joy Baptist Church with Masonic rites. Visitation will be Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home. Charles Lambert was born April 5, 1940 in Leedy, MS to James Wiley Lambert and Alice Bain Lambert and he passed away on August 2, 2018. He was a heavy equipment operator and worked many other jobs throughout his life including: Corner, Deputy Sheriff, Ordained Evangelist and owner and operator at L&M Caskets. He was a Mason of the Local Masonic Lodge #233. He was of the Baptist faith and attended New Beginnings Fellowship Church. Charles is survived by his wife of 8 years: Glenda Alderson Lambert of Iuka, MS; sons: David “Butch” Lambert of Iuka, MS and Kenneth “Kenny” Lambert and wife Carrie of Bethel, Alaska; daughters: Darlene McEwen of Michie, TN and Diann Carmack and husband Danny of Lebanon, TN; step son: Chris Brakeen of Michie, TN; step daughter: Danetta Enlow and husband Greg of Iuka, MS; brother: Ray Lambert and wife Suzanne of Corinth, MS; sister: Verda Pullman of Corinth, MS; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Linda Osborn Lambert; parents: James Wiley Lambert and Alice Bain Lambert; brothers: Mackie Lambert and Kenneth Lambert; sisters: Joice Lambert, Aileen Maness and Faye Dailey. Bro. Jimmy Daniels will be officiating the service. Pallbearers include: Jamie Lambert, Greg Lambert, Jay Glover, Robert Crane, Danny Powers and Gary Keenum.
