Funeral services for Carolyn Johnson Smith, 78, of Corinth are set for Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - South with interment in Rienzi City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - South on HWY 45 South. Bro. Raybon Richardson will officiate the service . Mollie Joe Potts will deliver the Eulogy. Pallbearers will be Chris Murphy, Brandon Moore, Chad Potts, Tim Jefcoat, Nathan Johnson, Wesley Jackson, Blake Thompson and Mike Denson. Born June 25, 1945 in Rienzi, MS., Carolyn passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023 at MS Care Center in Corinth. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and a retired purchaser for Delphi. She loved going out to eat with her friends, traveling and going to the coffee shop. Carolyn is survived by her son, Chris Ingram and wife Connie; granddaughter, Taylor Ingram and Martin McNair; brothers, Sanford Johnson, Ferrell Johnson and wife Alice and Doug Johnson and wife Jane; sisters, Rita Jefcoat and husband Tim and Brenda Jackson; sister-in-law, Kathy Johnson; special friend, Mollie Joe Potts; a host of coffee shop buddies in Rienzi; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Guy Johnson; mother Velma Green Johnson; brothers, Kenneth Johnson and Charles Edward Johnson; sister, Barbara Ward; grandparents, Wes and Maudie Johnson and Lee and Bessie Green; and a nephew, Brad Johnson.
