Graveside services for Carolyn "Carol" Oathout, 68, of Cario, MS are set for Friday, June 5, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Fairview Church of God. Visitation is Thursday, June 4, 2020, from 5:00 pm- 8:00 pm at Fairview Church of God Church. Born September 4, 1951, in Biggersville, MS. Carol passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020, at North MS Medical Center in Iuka. Carol was a retired truck driver for Morgan Van Lines. She was a member of Fairview Church of God. Carol is survived by her son, Chuck Oathout (Sheila) of Selmer, TN; daughters, Carla Dees (Bobby Masiers) of Burnsville, MS, Connie Oathout of Cario, MS, Glenda Baker (Mark) of Baldwyn, MS and Brenda Baker (Stevie) of Wheeler, MS; 20 grandchildren, Tyler Oathout, Brendan Oathout, Hannah Jones, Dakota Dees, Karlie Dees, Kassidy Dees, Hailey Carmack, Erika Carmack, Austin Carmack, Kimmie Oathout, Gage Baker, Kaytie Oathout, Kelsey Tyra, Kacy Tyra, Bobbie Fay Tyra, Jessica Oathout, Allie Baker, Alea Baker, Star Miller, and Sky Miller; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Denise Turner (Jeff) of Bonneville, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Oathout; father, Floyd Smith; mother, Polly Hodum and brother, Don Smith. Pallbearers will be Tyler Oathout, Brendan Oathout, Dakota Dees, Austin Carmack, Kacy Tyra, and Gage Baker. Bro. David Krech and Bro. Jason Pellizzer will officiate the service.
