Services for Carolyn Juanita Medlin are set for Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 1:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Blue Mountain, MS. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home. Miss Medlin was born June 10, 1947 in Ripley, MS and passed away on July 15, 2015 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed being with people, attending church and traveling. Miss Medlin is survived by her sister, Sandra Jean Lewis and husband Edward of Mattawan, MI; her step brothers, Charles Edward Medlin and wife Cora Lee of Hurst, TX; David Medlin and wife Kathy of Walnut, MS; her sister-in-law, Pattie Medlin of Southaven, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Chappell Medlin; her father, Edmond Frank Medlin and her step brother, James Medlin. Dr. Randy Bostick will officiate the service.
