Carol Lee Spencer

A Memorial Visitation for Carol Spencer, 60 of Corinth, MS, will be Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 2:00 P M to 4:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Spencer passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 at her residence in Corinth, MS. She was born November 24, 1959 in Huntsville, AL to William Rufus Posey and Aletha Cates. Carol retired from Subway as manager after 15 years of service. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed swimming and going to the movies. She was of the Baptist faith. Carol is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jerry Spencer of Corinth, MS; her son, Jeremiah Devon Spencer of Corinth, MS; her daughter-in-Law, Cortney Terry (David) of Corinth, MS; 2 grandchildren, Alex Spencer and Mckenzie Willingham; her brother, Marvin Moon (Sharon) of New Hope, AL; her brother-in-law Edward Rush of Fayetteville, TN; her nieces and nephews, Desiree Miller (Mark) of Decatur, AL, Christine Rush of Fayetteville, TN and Johnny Rush of Bradenton, FL; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William Rufus Posey; her mother ,Aletha Cates and her sister, Mylinda Rush. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Carol Spencer.
