Funeral services for Carmon Kennedy, 81 of Corinth are set for Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, December 19, 2022 from 5pm-8pm and Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 10am until service time. Bro. Charlie Cooper, Bro. Charles Stephenson, and Bro. Jimmy Ray Kennedy will officiate the service. Born September 26, 1941 in Corinth, MS, Carmon passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at her home. She was a retired assembly worker for ITT, a member of Shady Grove Baptist Mission, and a member of the Eastern Star.  She loved camping, sewing, working in her yard, traveling and going to gospel singings. Carmon is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Marie "Sissy" McLemore (Timmy) ; sons, Jimmy Ray Kennedy and Charles Ragen Kennedy; 8 grandchildren, Justin McLemore (Destin), Savannah Wiley (D.J.), Brent McLemore (Lindsey), Christy Dawn Oglesby, Tiffany Dian Lindsey, Jenny Nicole Parker (Brad), Joanna Beth Lambert (Kyle) and Charles Evan Kennedy; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Warner Ray Jones (Shirley); sisters, Margaret Houston (Johnny), Martha Noe, Diane Greenhaw (Tom) and Wanda Ross (Scotty); special caregivers, Savannah Wiley, Betty Wigginton, Missy Williams, Jean Marie Scott and Russian Clark; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. she is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Ray Kennedy; father, Fletcher Jones and her mother, Utah Vanderford Jones.
