Carlos Lee Wilkins, 54, of Burnsville, MS, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at 10:30 a.m.; at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, with burial to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Burnsville. Pastor Roger Wood, Pastor Franky Smith, and Pastor Jason Blakney will officiate the service. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, from 5:00 PM--8:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home and on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. until service time. He was born on July 5, 1963 in Iuka, MS. He was of the Baptist Faith. Carlos was a truck driver and he enjoyed watching Nascar, fishing, and spending time with his grandson, Austin. Pallbearers will be Lonzo Wilkins, Tony Kelly, Tommy Richardson, Butch Timbes, Danny Parsons and Jerry Clark. He is survived by one son: Dustin Wilkins of Tishomingo, MS; one grandson, Austin Wilkins; parents: Clifton and Barbara Sue Wilkins of Burnsville; Girlfriend, Belinda Parker of Iuka; Brother: Marty Wilkins and wife Crystal of Burnsville; Aunts: Marilyn Wilkins of Burnsville, Doris Wilkins of Counce, TN; and Lavada Allen of Corinth; uncle, Nathan Wilkins of Tupelo and numerous cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Bilbo and Lillian Wilkins and Maternal Grandparents, Paul and Paulene Johnson; uncle, William Wilkins and Aunt, Reba Jean Huggins.
