Carlie Nash Bradley passed away peacefully Friday September 10, 2010 at Dogwood Plantation Assisted Living, in Corinth, MS at the age of 96. She was born July 15, 1914 to the late William & Kennie Nash in Tishomingo County, MS. she was the oldest Active member of Gaines United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Alcon Agricultural High School and completed several professional accounting courses. Through the years she was a bookkeeper and office manager for Surratt Farms in Clint, TX, Johnson Motor Company in Corinth, MS, The Daily Corinthian, Corinth Gas & Water Dept. and retired from CIG Contractors in Corinth, MS. For years she assisted retired people with their income tax preperation. In addition to her intrest in workin g with numbers, she loved to read, work in her yard, play domineos, do Bible Study and visit with family and friends. She particualrly enjoyed going to Old Alazan Ranch in West Texas with daughter Waynelle & her family and time at the Cabin in the woods with Bettye and her family. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, The Magnolia Regional Hospital Auxillary, The Helping Hands Free Clinic and the Gaines Chapel Wesley Circle. She also regularly attended Prime Timers at First Baptist Church, The Christ United Methodist Circle and THe Joy Luncheon at the First Presbyterian Church. She is Survived by her Daughters: Bettye B. Gleason & husband John – Clinton, TX & Waynelle B. Stachan & husband James – Clint, TX, her Grandchildren (5):Johns Bradley Gleason, Gary Wayne Gleason & wife Brooke, Michael Nash Gleason & wife Sherry, Staci Strachan Witte & husband Jon, Sandra Strachan Giraud & husband Kevin, and her Great Grandchildren (9): Sydney Kale Witte, Carlie Shea Witte, Kennie Beth Giraud, James Rankin Giraud, Parker Eastland Gleason, Miller Shaw Gleason, Carlie Susan Gleason, John Michael Gleason & Grace Dalie Gleason Pallbearers will be her Grandsons: John Bradley Gleason, Gary Wayne Gleason, Michael Nash Gleason, Jon Witte, Kevin Giraud Honorary Pallbearerswill be Members of the Lon Cleveland Sunday School Class of Gaines Chapel, Gordon Evans, James Pierce, Bobby Burress, Leon Fields, Brad Bennett, Greg Bennett She is welcomed to Heaven by her Husband: Wayne Lamberth Bradley, her Parents: William Perry & Kennie Wright Nash, Brothers: Garvin W. Nash, W.F. Nash, Clifford P. Nash, Willis E. Nash, Sisters: Lillie N. Surratt, Lois N. Stoope, Jewell N. Prothro, Nelda N.
