Funeral services for Carel Stuart Youngblood, Sr, 87 of Corinth are set for Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - SOUTH on HWY 45 South with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 1pm -2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - South. Bro. Ricky Dean Harrison will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Peyton DePriest, Russell Youngblood, Daniel Youngblood, Tanner Youngblood, Anthony Miller, Casey Jones, Ricky Poteete, Josh Gibbs and Tristan Leach. Born September 21, 1937 in Olive Branch, MS, Mr. Youngblood passed from this life on Friday, December 6, 2024 at his home in Corinth, MS. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Holly Baptist Church. He was a driver for the Memphis Fire Department for 25 years and the retired owner of Allcare, INC. Carel loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, skiing, hunting, fishing, and riding horses. Carel is survived by his wife of 70 years, Eva Youngblood; sons, Barry Russell "Rusty" Youngblood (Cheryl) and Carel Stuart "Dusty" Youngblood, Jr.; 7 grandchildren, Tina Golden (Matt), Amy Jones (Casey), Russell Youngblood (Shauna), Daniel Youngblood, Lacey Gibbs (Josh), Misty Alphin, Heather Griffin (Mike); 15 great grandchildren, Brittany Miller (Anthony), Alison Leach (Tristan), Peyton DePriest, Camden Jones, Hadley Jones, Ashlyn Jones, Jacob Golden, Elijah Golden, Tanner Youngblood, Sydney Youngblood, Reese Gibbs, Lily Kate Gibbs, Orion Alphin, Alexander Alphin and Abygail Griffin; 6 great- great grandchildren, Emrey Miller, Evannie Miller, Onyx Kate Miller, Grayson Bo Leach, Grady Brooks Leach and Reece DePriest; sons-in-law, Rick Harrison and Ricky Poteete; daughter-in-law, Tonuia Youngblood; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Marsha Lynn Harrison; father, Winfield F. Youngblood; mother, Ida Mae Cunningham; and stepfather Elmer Cunningham, great grandchild, Austin Golden; brother, Winfield "Sonny" Youngblood, Jr. and his sisters, Jessie Christine Lane and Lovie Mae Roberts.
