Bro. Taft "T.E." Nethery

A Celebration of Life Service for Bro. Taft “T.E.” Nethery, 88 of Corinth, MS, will be Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:00 A M at Nethery Cemetery in Ramer, TN.  Bro. Keith Driskell, Bro. Randy Isbell and Bro. Trent Nethery, Jr. will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  He was born January 5, 1935 in Corinth, MS to Abel Taft Nethery and Dovie Hinton Nethery.  Bro. Nethery went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, March 27, 2023.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He loved serving his Lord in all things he did.  He pastored several churches in AL, MS and TN over his 62 years in the ministry.  In addition to being a minister, he installed carpet for many years.  In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family.  T.E. was a hard working man who loved life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  He is survived by his son, Bro. Trent Nethery (Debbie); his daughter, Kristie Teague; 8 grandchildren, Bro. Trent Nethery, Jr. (Kristi), Shellie Chunn (Randy), Rusty Faulkner, Courtney Young, Rory Dale Young II (Bethany), Chassidy Hardy (Kyle), Vivian Teague (Lane Avant) and Mollie Teague; 6 great grandchildren, Jayce Null (Dustin), Callee Jones, Devinn Smullins, Eli Hill, Griffin Young and Jaxton Hardy; 4 great-great grandchildren, Brylen Null, Braxton Null, Hadleigh Graves and Brenton Null; 2 step great grandchildren, Katie Thames (Jacob) and E.J. Donahue; 2 step great-great grandchildren, Millie Hayes Thames and Huck Thames; his sisters, Earlene Cornelius (Kenneth), Patsy Cornelius (Travis) and Diane McGee (Wayne); his sister-in-law, Ann Nethery;  numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Rosa Mae Scott Nethery; his daughter, Kaffie Young; his father, Abel Nethery; his mother, Dovie Hinton Nethery; his great grandchild, Emersyn Hardy; his son-in-law, Chris Teague; and his brother, Larry Nethery.  Pallbearers will be, Ladron Nethery, Rusty Faulkner, Rory Dale Young II, Devinn Smullins, Eli Hill and Kyle Hardy.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Bro. Taft “T.E.” Nethery.
