A Celebration of Life service for Brian Russell McDowell, 57 of Glen is set for Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 12:00pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born June 14, 1962 in Corinth, MS, Brian passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his home in Glen. He was a retired machine operator at Halls and of the Baptist faith. Brian is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sherry Rushing McDowell of Glen; his mother, Ruby Goode McDowell of Corinth; brother, Mike McDowell of Corinth; sister, Sharon Viola and husband Anthony of Corinth; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his sons, Chevy Lane McDowell and Jake Hayden McDowell and his father, Ernest McDowell. Charlie Browning will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Dustin Burcham, Hunter Burcham, Grant Viola and Tyler McDowell.
