Brenda Bragg Walker

A Celebration of Life service for Brenda Bragg Walker, 76 of Horn Lake, MS, will be Friday, April 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Hope Chapel of Olive Branch with interment at Dogwood Cemetery. Rev. Steve Cannon, Rev. Ryan Vanderford and Rev. Richard Motes will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, April 16, 2021 from 12:00 noon until service time at Hope Chapel of Olive Branch. Mrs. Walker passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Baptist Memorial East Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was born November 19, 1944 in Corinth, MS to William Jesse Bragg and Lorene Cecelia Phillips Bragg. She was a homemaker and a member of Hope Chapel at Olive Branch. Brenda is survived by her husband of 58 years, Rev. Cecil Melvin Walker of Horn Lake, MS; her son, Basil Walker and wife Sissy of Rose Bud, AR; her daughter, Karen Blanton of Horn Lake, MS; 5 grandchildren, Nicholas Walker (Leah), Benjamin Walker (Andrea), Brittany Billingsley (Brian), Candace Billman (Nate) and Jeremy Dennis (Stephanie); 10 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marie Bragg of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William Jesse Bragg; mother, Lorene Cecelia Phillips Bragg; brother, Larry Bragg and sisters, Nina Felks, Evone Latch (Billy) and Frieda Bragg. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Walker, Benjamin Walker, Jeremy Dennis, Rylee Vanderford, Nate Billman and Brian Billingsley.
