Funeral services for Brenda Gail Harbor Pettus, 77 of Corinth, MS, formerly of Florence, AL are set for Monday, March 12, 2018 at 1:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home in Corinth. Visitation will be Monday, March 12, 2018 from 11:00am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11:00am at Colbert County Memorial Gardens in Tuscumbia, AL with burial to follow. Born December 5, 1940 in Hamilton, AL, Gail was retired teacher from Southside Elementary in Tuscumbia with 25 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Highland Baptist Church in Florence, AL. Gail is survived by her son, Bro. Dyer Harbor and wife Sheila of Corinth, MS; step-son, Alan Pettus and wife Cheryl of Florence, AL.; 8 grandchildren ; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Sheriann Logan and husband Steve of Winfield, AL and Syble Tice and husband Johnny of Prattville, AL; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Randy Harbor; 2nd husband, Vernon Pettus, 1st husband, Earl Harbor; father, L.A. Young; mother, Monise Moore Young; brother, Phillip Young and a step-daughter, Tina Thompson. Bro. Andrew Harbor and Bro. Dyer Harbor will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Bro. Andrew Harbor, Joshua Harbor, Josiah Harbor, Justin Harbor, Zach Harbor, Ryan Thompson and Brayden Thompson. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Brenda Gail Harbor Pettus.
