Funeral services for Brenda Meeks, 76 of Glen are set for Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment at Antioch Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 5pm-8pm and Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 10am until 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro Ed Kennedy will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Christian, Logan Christian, Brad Calton, David Nixon,  Bryan Powers, Greg Durham and Chad Marlar. Born June 17, 1947 in Iuka, MS., Brenda passed  away on Friday, June 7,2024 at her home in Glen, MS. She was a retired order clerk at Kimberly Clark with 30+ years of service and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Burnsville. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them especially her children and grandchildren. Her favorite things were  yard saling, going with her friends to the VFW and shopping. Brenda is survived by her daughter, Sherry Harper (Elvis Hatch); son, Edward Meeks (Audrey)' 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Meeks, Noah Blackburn, Lily Jewel Harper, Michael Meeks and Charles Tripp Harper; brother, Rex Allin Taylor (Liz); sisters, Betty South and Donna Hargrove (Benjamin); niece and nephew, Rebecca Taylor and Matthew Reiner; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her grandchild, Joseph Blackburn; father, Allin Taylor; mother, Jewel Taylor; sister, Fleeda Keele and a nephew, James Keele.
