Bobbie Jean Luther, 83, of Golden, MS, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Southern Magnolia in Golden. She was born in Amory, MS on May 3, 1936 to the late Marshall Jessie and Clara Bell Bacon Malone and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Belmont, MS. Bobbie will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 12 pm till service time Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Bobbie’s life will be held at 2pm Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. Pallbearers include Daniel Luther, Jordan Barnes, Logan Barnes, Cass McComb, Jay Tate, and Jerry Worley. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Bobbie’s memory include her husband of 65 years: Jack Luther of Golden; her sons: Michael R. Barnes (Jamie) of Corinth, Bobby D. Luther (Dorinda) of Belmont; her stepsons: Daniel Luther (Bonnie Sue) and Billy Luther all of Fulton; her stepdaughter: Linda Hutcheson (Ricky) of Fulton; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; her brother: Billy Malone of Aberdeen; her sister: Sandra Ruth Malone Coker of Texas; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Elisa Gail Barnes; her parents: Marshall Jessie and Clara Bell Bacon Malone; her brother: Sidney Marshall Malone; her sisters: Marshaline Christine Jaqualine Malone Verell, Clara Nell Malone Cowley, Eunice Elise Malone Brown, and Bettye Gayle Malone.
