Funeral services for Bill McLain, 79 of Iuka, MS are set for Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at `11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 10am -11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Leonard Casabella will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Josh Shepherd, Jordan McLain, Alex McLain and Tyler Doggett. Born December 5, 1945 in Corinth, MS., Mr. McLain passed from this life on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Cornerstone Health and Rehab. He was of the Christian faith. He was a gradate of Corinth High School Class of 1964 and the retired owner of WFXO radio station. Bill loved his family and enjoyed taking care of his many cats, traveling, collecting Diamond T trucks and newspapers and going to concerts, especially 60's rock and 80 and 90's country music concerts. He loved being a disc jockey and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. Bill is survived by his sons, Tim McLain (Caroline) and Eric McLain; daughter, Libby McLain; honorary daughter, Dana McLain; 6 grandchildren, Josh Shepherd (Monica), Jordan McLain (Karli), Alex McLain, Tiffany Doggett (Tyler), Lindsay McLain and Molly McLain; 9 great grandchildren; host of friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle McLain; his granddaughter, Kayla Deakle; father, Tobe McLain; mother, Bessie Dodd McLain and special friend and love of his life, Peggy Lovelace.
