Billy Wayne Johnson, 74, of Glen, MS, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at his daughter’s residence. He was born in Michie, TN on October 15, 1944 to the late Allen and Theo Holland Johnson. He was a car hauler for Stewart’s Used Cars and was a member of Glendale Baptist Church. Billy Wayne will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 pm Sunday, June 23, 2019 and from 1 pm till service time Monday, June 24, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Billy Wayne’s life will be held at 3 pm Monday, June 24, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. James Voyles and Bro. Paul Ray Hall. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers include Tom Scialabba, Zachery Peacher, Noel Carroll, Kenny Hill, Jacob Hill and Bret Peacher. Honorary pallbearers include David Wallin, Eddie Burcham, Jerome Wilkins, Orville Crum, Johnny Emerson, and Ronnie Stewart. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Billy Wayne’s memory include his daughter: Angela Dooley and husband Bro. William of Corinth; his grandchildren: Zachery Peacher, Savannah Peacher, Shianne Peacher, Lee Dooley, Jacob Dooley, and Nikita Logan; a great grandchild: Victoria Faye Keith; his brother: Jim Johnson of Humboldt, TN; his sister: Lola Mae Hopkins of Humboldt, TN; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years: Cledda Faye Sharp Johnson; his parents; his brothers: J.C. Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Larry Johnson, Donald Johnson, and Henry Allen Johnson; and his sisters: Sammie Smith, Lucille Scruggs, and Annie Estelle Stutts.
