Funeral services for Billy Ray Brock, 85 of Walnut, MS., are set for Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 2pm at Ebenezer Church with Military Honors.  Interment in The Brock Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 5pm until time of service Sunday at 2pm at Ebenezer Church, 50 CR 224, Walnut, MS 38683. Bro. Doc Shelton will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be his sons, Rickey Brock, Randy Brock, Mike Brock, Marty Brock, Pat Brock and Phil Brock. Born February 14, 1939 in Ripley, MS., Mr. Brock passed from this life on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at his home. He was of the Christian faith and a retired glazier for Tull Brothers of Collierville, TN . He was a U. S. Army Veteran who served from December 1961 - December 1963. Billy Ray loved his family and spending time with them and enjoyed gardening and going to church. He was a very kind hearted man. Billy Ray is survived by his sons, Rickey Brock (Lisa), Randy Brock, Mike Brock (Jo), Marty Brock, Pat Brock (Angie) and Phil Brock (Dawn); 10 grandchildren, Brittany Carper (Noah), Thealeshia Russell (Bubba), Ben Brock (Britney), Paige Moore (Cameron), Chelsea Brock, Amber Brock, Kyle Brock, Jacob Brock (Sarah), Jordan Brock and Chasady Hopper (Chase); 16 great grandchildren and one on the way; brother, James Brock (Joyce); brother-in-law, Bobby Richardson; sister-in-law, Nilean Cooper (William); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Neva Lynn Richardson Brock; father, Elick Brock; mother, Ethel Smith Brock; brothers, Lester Brock, L.M. Brock, Naythail Brock and Opal Brock and his sister, Mary Jewell Henry. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Billy Ray Brock.
