Funeral services for Billy Ray Baswell, 66 of Glen are set for Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 5:00pm- 8:00pm and Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Baswell passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his hime in Glen. Born April 17, 1950 in Glen, MS he was a retired carpenter and a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his sons, Brian Baswell and Billy Wayne Baswell both of Corinth, MS; grandchildren, Brandy Baswell, Brianna Baswell and Sylvia Baswell; brothers, Johnny Baswell and wife Julie – Glen, MS; Hubert Baswell – Glen , MS; Jackie Baswell and wife Kay – Glen, MS; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives and a Host of Friends. Billy Ray is preceded in death by his son, James Ray Baswell; father, Johnny Hershel Baswell; mother, Ida Evelyn Smith Baswell and brother, Bobby Joe Baswell. Jackie Baswell and Minister Don Green will officiate the service . Serving as pallbearers will be Byron Baswell, Johnathan Baswell, Billy Brimingham, Thomas Baswell, Ben Baswell and Scott Baswell.
